Principal

Mr. Calano is a founding Principal and Managing Member of Prospectus, LLC where he specializes in development and investment related project analysis, permitting and financing activities as well as managing the firm’s real estate consulting practice. Prior to forming Prospectus in 1987, Mr. Calano was Vice-President for Planning and Development at LandVest, Inc., a national real estate consulting and marketing company. At LandVest, he managed consulting and development activities for over 500 residential and commercial projects throughout New England. In addition to his private sector experience, Mr. Calano worked in the public sector as a regional planner for the Massachusetts Office of Environmental Affairs and the Southern California Association of Governments. He holds two degrees from Harvard University, including Masters degrees in both Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture, and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. He has served on numerous real estate organizations and committees, including chairing both the New England Chapter of Counselors of Real Estate and the Boston Chapter of Lambda Alpha International.
